Found a dead bluejay in my backyard. Who do I call?

We have bird feeders and they attract numerous wild birds including 3 or 4 bluejays. Today I found a dead one. Should I be concerned about West Nile Virus?

  4. you call mr backyard and mr shovel and bury it. it will decompose and will be food for the soil.

  5. Call  your local animal control.  They may want to take the bird in for testing to determine if your area is at risk.
