i'm wondering... if you took it to an antique store or a store that sells paintings, if they would know...

or possibly look on line. do a search of "a painting by H de BR'...

Henri de Braekeleer is the only artist i know whose name might fit, although i dont recall ever seeing him sign his name as this.

If you can identify the style, subject and/or date then it would give more clues,  or it could just be one of many lesser known and uncatalogued artists. An auction house that deals in fine art, or a fine art dealer  is your best bet for finding out, they will look for clues the image gives as well as the signature to try and identify it. If it is a relatively unknown artist you may not be able to find out anything more, I hope for you its a de Braekeleer !!
