Found a rental in albemarle nc but need info on the area. help please.?

i am moving from maine to albemarle, nc. i found a rental at spring gardens...its on elmwood ave in albemarle. i was wondering if anyone knows if this is a good area. i have two small children and need to be sure. thanks so much!
