does it still need milk from its mom its about the size of my fist curled up. Im only 4'11 so i have tiny hands.

If i cant let it go can i keep it as a pet or should i just let it go and it will be fine?

  1. I think  you should take the bunny to the vets and let them take the bunny from there, i wouldnt let it back into the wild though because it may not survive on its own , hope he/she is ok :)

  2. If it was out of the nest it is most likely to be up and out.  Are it's ears attached to it's head?  If not then it should be fine on it's own.

It is  a myth that mother bunnies will smell human scent and not return to her babies.  Baby bunnies are very hard to take care of and unless you are a wildlife rescuer the chancesof the bunny not dying in your care are slim to none.

Please put the bunny back where you found it...if it's young, mom is nearby.

  3. I don't know about letting him go... He could be lost, he might know where to go, or he might just get eaten up. If you do want to keep him, and he's not eating kibble, you'll need to get a syringe and replacement milk. push the milk into his mouth with the syringe and he'll swallow it. It's what I did for the kitten I found. You might also want to ask the vet or pet store if they have Nutircal for rabbits.

  4. I don't think the baby rabbit would be able to find it's mom. If you've touched it, the bunny now has your scent and the mother would probably not accept it back. My advice is to take it to the vet for special care. In the mean time, try to keep it warm and remember to give it water. But hurry up as best you can, because wild baby animals do not do good on their own. Good luck!

  5. You should let it go.It will be fine on it's own cuz i caught a baby rabbit and i kept it and it died soo,let it go.

  6. Please bring it to a wildlife rehabilitator ASAP. I have found many baby rabbits before and tried to bring them up to health and help them but with wild rabbits its like a 5% chance they will survive unless they get help from an experienced person.

  7. Keep it warm(keep it covered up even if it is warm outside) and hydrated immediately and then take it to someone experienced.  You can buy a little nipple bottle at pet store and appropriate food ( ask them).  Make sure you water down the mixture well enough so it doesn't become blocked and constipated.  It probably has fleas and intestinal parasites so don't let your cats or other animals near it and wash your hands well!

  8. I'm not sure with rabbits but u should leave it where it is and wait some time and if the mom dose not come back then u can take it in and take care of it.  i think the wait is like 2 hours.   it most likely will need some milk  i am not sure what kind of milk though it would be puppys or kittens.  with it being so small u might be able to keep it but i am not sure on that  i hope i helped you  out
