Is it better to keep the box outside or inside?

Keep it inside and put a lamp near it. A desk lamp will do to keep it warm then take it to the vet or animal rescue...

You should take it to a vet. Vets treat wild birds for free. If you have your own pet birds keep it well away from them as it may transfer illness onto your pets. I would say inside because it could be a bit warmer. Obviously dont leave it outside at night time because it will just become an esay target and get eaten.

Keep him warm and call your local wildlife rescue and they'll come and pick it up.

Keep it inside. One of your main concerns is heat. Make sure it gets plenty of warmth. It depends on if the bird has internal injuries whether it will be alive tomorrow. Sometimes a bird may appear perfectly healthy, but there may be many things wrong with it. Good luck, and try to get it to some professionals so they can better care for it. =)

The bird wont eat or drink. Take the water/seed out of the box. Keep the bird in a warm, dark and quiet room. In the morning, take it to the local wildlife rescue.

it is better to look after it and call the animal shelter and tell them that you have found a wounded bird and what you should do. They may tell you to take it to the animal shelter for them to treat and then they will take it back to wildlife when it is better.
