Found glass shards in safeway loose lettuce

not really sure if i shoudl pursue anything. Im pissed about the situation and its embarassing since i had offered the salad to a friend who hurt his tooth on the glass in there. we have the big shard but there is no proving that we didnt just plant it in the lettuce? how does this even happen?

that sucks.. talk to them about it.. dont be afraid to be a 'whiner' in buisness the customer is always right.. so you may even be able to get money back for it. and also tell them their bakery is hella delicious. :)

well tell the chef what happened and order another one, but do be civilised about it lol, my friend found a cockroach in his rich once, yuck. I guess the glass probably came from a window or something, that happens to drop in the salad when noone's watching. if it's a prank, it's not funny, and you can sue the person.

Absolutely take that stuff back in there & show the manager with your dish and all!  That was a serious catastrophe averted!!!  You could so easily sue!  If I were you I'd document it, I just hope no one else got lettuce that had broken glass too.  

I had a friend who bought pastry from Safeway and bit into it & found maggots.  She was so horrified, she took it back & they immediately replaced it with something else.  Later, she realized she probably should have kept it and gotten more out of it since, as traumatic as it was!
