  1. We still have pesos in Argentina but there were two different kinds of pesos....the pesos you are talking about are useless ...if they were new...1000 pesos would be 330 dollars  or so

  2. 3 USD = 1 ARGENTINIAN PESO!

    :)

  3. The peso argentino was the currency of Argentina between June 6, 1983 and June 14, 1985.

    They're no longer legal tender.

  4. How interesting, I've got one too! A 1000 Peso bill with no date, probably around the same time as yours because mine's serial number also ends in F. The ink is kind of a brownish color, and on the front is General San Martin, on the back is a picture of the Plaza de Mayo in Buenos Aires. If your bill happens to be the same as mine and you find out what it's worth, would you let me know? I'll keep watching your question to see if someone knows the answer, and maybe I'll do a bit of my own research.

  5. Yes, it is 1985 or older! In any case, with no legal currency value to-day, plus inflation had eroded it past its original value!

May-be some time in the future will have some numismatic value!

If it is this one, as per below, it is even older:
