Found necklace underground ?

I was digging at my job and found a rotted wooden box with a necklace inside with some paper. The necklace looks like some kind of a symbol that looks like this: )0( any help would be appriciated.

The symbol ")0(" is a moon symbol.  It depicts the three cycles of the moon.  Can you describe the necklace more?  And was there anything written on the paper?  It sounds like you might have found a necklace once worn by a Wicca (or at least a pagan) priestess.

this symbol looks like the triple goddess.is very used by wiccans,witches and pagans.

bring it to antiques roadshow, or perhaps a jewelry shop that can tell you more about it. it might be worth something.
