Found some kind of wasp or bee hep identify it please?!?

we were walking down the road today and found a very large bee or wasp and trying to find out what it is. it is hairy where the head is but the tail end is not, its about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long large oval brownish eyes , two large wings with two smaller wings under them help me figure out what this is please

that sounds like a special species of wasp ..determinately not a drgonfly

that dosent sound like a wasp or bee. it sounds like Dragonfly. Dragon flys have two sets of wings one set large, the other set just behind or under the 1st set and are much smaller. look up pictures of dragonflys and see if that helps you.
