Question:

Foundation/Makeup help?

I'm looking for a new foundation, but have no idea where to start. I have oily, somewhat acne-prone skin and I want something that has good coverage and will help combat the oiliness. I'm also looking for something not too expensive, because I don't have a ton of money or anything.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!

  1. As you have Acne prone skin I would recommend not applying anything to heavy.

Avon have just brought out a clear foundation. This might sound silly but it evens your face out without looking like your piling on the foundation. It also creates and Mat look which will cover the oily skin.

It's all Magix or something like that, worth having a look at.

    Hope this helps

  2. As a Mary Kay Consultant, I have oily skin also. The best product I have found is Mary Kay(oil control moisturizer, and med. coverage foundation. Both are for oily complexions) Use  both spairingly and they will last for app. 5-6 months maybe. Your moisturizer will only be the size of a dime, on your finger tips. I would invest in a pump for the moisturizer, it cost only $1.00. Your foundation will be $14.00, and moisturizer will be,$18.00. This sounds expensive, but by the time you buy all the things @ Wal-Mart and other places, you have waisted a lot more money than this.

  3. Because you have oily skin you should probably try a powder or mineral foundation. eyeslipsface.com has a really nice mineral foundation for $5 (most are about $15, they also have other really cheap makeup). I've used it before, it works really well. You could also try a powder compact foundation from a brand like covergirl or maybelline (probably $8?).
