  1. Moisturize first!

  2. I'm assuming it's liquid foundation. Add face moisturizer (or just lotion) into the foundation (each time you use it- don't just dump some in the bottle). It should not only help it glide but also take that sticky feeling away.

  3. get a specific make up sponge

and use to to spread it evenly

  4. Don't put it on.

  5. 2 points away from the next level

  6. Are you applying liquid foundation? If you are...you should always set your liquid foundation with a powder. BUT if you're not using liquid and you are already using powder to begin with, check to see if your foundation is expired or try out a new foundation.

  7. My best recommendation is that you may not be using the right kind of foundation. If it doesn't feel right, personally, I would switch to another brand. (Also - make sure it matches your skin tone. It can look really cakey if it doesn't.)

A video that really helped me is available here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiyG0QECO...

There is a link on the side as well, which will bring you to a step-by-step description of the video if the video doesn't work well on your computer.

    Good luck!

  8. try using something lighter like a tinted moisturiser? have you tried to apply moisturiser about 5 minutes before....use a foundation brush, take it from the back of your hand not straight out of the container and only apply it in the areas you need, not all over as is ends up looking like a mask and you want it to look natural. Try these ideas.
