  1. First off, you should use a primer. This is supposed to help give your face a glow and to cover up the apperance of pimples. Try Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy Luminizing Face Primer, $10, drug stores. Then I like to put a liquid foundation on first and then put on a powder over it. The liquid foundation that I use is CoverGirls Clean Makeup and the powder is L'OREALs true match.I got these at Target and they have pull out swatches that you can put up to your skin and whatever color fades, then that is your shade (: If your make-up starts to fade away then spray a toner and dab it with a tissue once and your face will look like you just applied make-up. Try a toner like Kiss My Face Balancing Act Facial Toner, $13, drugstores.

Hope I helped, i know how you feel i just randomly got three rather large pimples and it sucks but makeup works wonders (:

  2. theres a trick. i guess it depends on the type of foundation and concealer u use. for foundation  u want to have the color of ur skin!  and for concealer u want it to be a bit shades lighter than ur skin.   u can try applieing ur  concealer on differently.

one way u can put it on is with a tiny paint brush.  u put a little on the brush and applie it to were u want it it. realy helps  to put it on exactly were u want it and it doesnt look blochy

  3. Ouuuu this is a tricky one. If the zit is quite red try using eye drops to minimize the redness. First use a concealer brush--you can buy them at Walmart for really cheap. If you don't want to use a brush, lightly PAT the concealer on the zit. By patting it you won't rub the concealer off. Start off using a very small amount so that if it still doesn't cover you can put more on. You might also want to try getting a green concealer to cut down on the redness--use the green before your normal concealer.

Most importantly make sure the concealer matches your skin. You should be able to put it on your jawline and not see any visible marks. If the concealer is too light it will create a halo effect around your zit. If it's too dark it will draw more attention to the zit. If all else fails, get a brown eyeliner pencil and turn that pimple into a beauty mark.

  4. 1. Make sure the make-up matches your skin tone. Test out a few shades, blend if you must, and return anything that doesn't suit you (buy at Rite Aid, which allows you to return). Or try going to a make-up professional at Macy's, which will help you out the best!

    2. Blend well with either clean fingertips or a sponge (see which works best for you). Don't put either all over your face, cause that can look bad. Just on the spots you really need them!

    3. Put on light coats. Heavy coats will love fake or turn orange-y. If that happens, put only a dab. Nothing heavy!

    4. Experiment with different brands. Different brands work for different people, don't I suggest don't buy anything to cheap (like under $4), for they can be crappy. Once you find the right one, settle on that!

  5. I use mineral make up because it covers well and it light, won't cause more break outs. (Everyday Minerals free sample online)

    Wash face

    Moisturize

Before the moisturizer dries I put on the concealer powder blending it into the pimples and under eye area with their concealer brush (same as the ones at CVS)

After everything dries I go over it with foundation (I like the semi matte on days when I feel oily and Orginal Glo for days that I'm more dry, semi matte has more coverage without being too much) I use the kabuki blush and blend it in.

Some finishing powder and blush and I'm good to go.

  6. First, you only use concealer if you have blemishes to hide. Always start with a clean, moisturized face. Lightly dab concealer on your blemishes, under eye bags, etc and dab. After this take your powder and lightly dust the rest of your face to cover up. The trick is not to go too crazy with either. Believe me, you might think that your blemishes are still there, but caking on your makeup will draw more attention than leaving it be.
