i'm 15 and have never used foundation before. i'm going shopping at walmart today so i thought i might buy some [under $15, if possible to get good quality :] i have like, medium beige tan skin and i am looking for something that is oil free and really lightweight too, that won't cause me to break out. do you have any good recomendations?

also, what do you do to take care of your face and what products do you use?

thank you so much for all the help, in advance :D

  1. I'm a big fan of tinted moisturizers instead of foundations because they don't feel heavy nor do they look cakey.  I use Sonia Kashuk's brand, which you can get at Target for about $10.  I know Covergirl makes one, but I wasn't too impressed with it.

It sounds like I have similar skin to yours, maybe a little more oily.  In the morning I use Clean and Clear Oil Control Morning Burst cleanser, and at night I use Oil of Olay Combination Cream Cleanser (it has some purple on the bottle).  Both are fairly cheap.  The face lotion I use is a Vitamin E cream that you buy at Walmart; you get 2 large tubs for like 3 bucks.  It is a bit heavy, but I love it.

  2. Neutrogena Healthy Skin, (Skin Clearing is good but can be drying). My skin sounds similar to yours (oily in the t-zone, but not bad acne, just occasional pimples), and it's the only thing I can use because everything else makes me break out IMMEDIATELY (even BareEscentuals Bare Minerals made me break out, and it's supposed to be all-natural and not break you out.), so it's a pretty safe bet. The foundation is about $10, and then the Healthy Skin powder and bronzer is ...$7 each I think. I use them everyday.

    Good Luck!
