Foundation for very pale skin?

I need a liquid foundation that is good for blemish-prone very pale skin. I'm prone to redness in my face because it is sensitive, and although everybody says that I have cool undertones in my skin, I swear they would only be in my face, because my arms and legs seem neutral, and don't really burn. Anyway, every foundation is either too yellow or too dark for me. I hate to waste the L'Oreal True Match I bought last week (N1, too yellow), but I don't want to waste more money on one that could be too dark, or even too pink (C1). What should I do? Aside from changing to a better skincare regimen :P

I'm interested in the Maybelline Mineral Power liquid foundation, but I've used Light 1 (looks pink, goes on yellow for me), and Light 0? Well...probably more yellow.

Although it's true that changing your skincare regimen may help the foundation look more true to it's color, I had the same problem as you with foundations. Everything looked so dark, because I'm so pale! Too pink, too orange, too yellow. I use L'Oreal Bare Naturale in the lightest shade. It looks completely natural (doesn't look like I'm wearing foundation) and covers redness, spots and freckles. It's fantastic. I'm never changing my foundation! It's only $15. Actually, the foundation improved my skin - which is not often said about makeup products as they usually ruin it. It prevents from sun damage and I haven't gotten any pimples since wearing it. It's a mineral foundation so it's good for your skin. You can use a translucent powder over it to help it last longer.

Just be sure that you have an exfoliating scrub (I use St. Ives brand, it works great and smells good), a cleanser (Cetaphil's the best one, Ponds is pretty good too) and a moisturizer (I use Vaseline intensive care but Aveeno is good too) to use before you put your makeup on so you have clean, healthy skin.
