Question:

Foundation leak from a rain storm?

We recently had a Tropical Storm with a lot of rain. I noticed the carpet in my bedroom was wet. I pulled it up a little bit and there was water on the foundation (concrete) under the carpet. It wasnt coming from the window. I noticed a crack but very thin and looked like a good amount of water was close to the wall. Any advice? Should I start calling contractors, my insurance company, or just try to seal it with something? House is 3 years old and this has never happened before even through hurricanes a couple years ago

  1. You can back cut the crack and fill it with

hydraulic cement. That should stop your leak.
