Who is the classical theorist regarded as the founder of the feminist perspective?

I am studying for sociology in order to do an assignment where we have to know each sociological perspectives founder and I can't seem to find anywhere in my textbook who the closest person is to being the founder of this perspective.

in the 1960s / 70s it was germaine greer and a grp of her friends.  she wasnt really the founder but was the most vocal then
