Foundling adoptees?

Are there any foundling adoptees on here? I was watching a programme about foundling babies and was interestd as to weather there are any on here.

oh, i didnt realize there was an official name for them. no, i am not a foundling. thank you for explaining, i learned something new.

i hate to admit, i think if something were to make me angry or hostile this would be it. im sure there are many reasons for their actions, but that seems so drastic.

im not sure if im considered a foundling or not. i was abandoned in a hotel room at 6 months old, i was found after my bio grandmother sent out authoritys to find me. she got custody of me and adopted me. i love the opportunity that i was given to have normal life. i know my bio mother and she has many excuses as to why she left me. but being a mother myself i cant see the reasoning behind what she says. i take everything in my life and try to make the best out of it.

so i dont know am i considered a foundling or do babies left for dead have their own name?
