Reports claim that the FFF executive committee has decided to take action against several players who were involved in unsporting behaviour in Les Bleus' Euro 2012 campaign in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032.
According to reports, FFF has informed these players that they need to appear before a disciplinary commission at the end of the month. All four players must make sure that they do not miss the hearing in order to avoid further disciplinary action against
them.
A source close to the federation has claimed that July 27 has been the date set for the hearing and players are expected to be handed severe punishments for their misconduct during the tournament.
"July 27 is the planned date. These players have undermined the values of the France team, of the shirt, of the badge," the source said.
"Their behaviour is the common link between them, albeit to different extents for each one. There are grievances, and the commission will sort these out."
Out of the four players, Samir Nasri is expected to suffer the most. The Manchester City midfielder was involved in a foul-mouthed rant at a journalist after the loss to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 and was seen as a mischievous influence throughout the tournament.
Although Nasri later apologised to the fans over his actions via twitter but federation sees this apology as too little too late.
“There are too many counter-truths going around. I want supporters, and especially the children among them, to know that I sincerely regret the fact that what I said might have shocked them,” Nasri wrote on Twitter.
Ben Arfa, who was involved in a dressing room row with Laurent Blanc, is next in line. FFF is considering strict punishment for the Newcastle United player, to avoid any such controversies in the future.
PSG’s Jeremy Menez got himself in trouble by insulting the referee in the match against Spain and later gesturing at captain http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hugo-Lloris-c16408, telling him to shut up.
Yann M’Vila refused to shake hands with his replacement Olivier Giroud and coach Laurent Blanc, after being substituted in the quarter-finals.
The French Football Federation has decided to freeze the bonuses of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 team at Euro 2012 ahead of the scheduled disciplinary hearing.
