  1. Dundrum shopping centre is the biggest in Europe, it's a short LUAS ride from st stephen's green LUAS station.

  2. I suggest you have a good time.  If it's your thing, there are tons of museums in Dublin.  Also loads of pubs and sports.  Great city, but I would also recommend you get out of Dublin and see the rest of the country.

Basically you can get from any point in Ireland to any other point in Ireland in about 4 hours.  So, hop on a train or rent a car and go see stuff.  There is SO much to see and do.  The west of Ireland is awesome - Galway is a good base to see the west from.  And the south - Cork and Limerick - are cool too.  Northern Ireland is beautiful in the spring and summer when the weather starts getting warmer.

Hit the pubs, drink Guinness, eat seafood, dance, laugh, have fun.

  3. depends on time of year.  All our museums and art galleries are free if these interest you.  You can also walk around the grounds of Trinity College freely but have to pay a small amount to see the Book of Kells.

Temple Bar is mainly frequented by tourists I'm afraid and you will pay more for your drink there but it is nice to see. There is a food market there in meeting house square on saturdays and also a fashion market in Cow Lane.

You dont say how long you have.  The Dart is our electric train which goes around the bay and is quite reasonable.  Visit Dalkey on the south side or Malahide on the north side, both are trendy villages. Howth on the north side has nice walks up through Howth Castle grounds and a fab view of Dublin Bay also an ancient Irish burial ground.

Wicklow mountains are easily accessible and great for hill walking if you are interested. Shopping is Grafton Street or Henry Street (more reasonable). Parks are Phoenix park (the zoo is here and also herds of wild deer and the American Ambassadors residence and the home of our President).  In the city Stephens Green and Merrion Square parks are nice.

Enjoy your trip. Treat Dublin like any big city.  We are very friendly but dont walk around flashing money and cameras.

    Welcome and enjoy
