Four girls names [Linnea Peyton Keirna and Elizaveta] do you like them?

Question

my brother has four daughters named Linnea (lynn ay uh) Peyton Keirna (key ur na) and Elizaveta (like elizabeth wth vee tuh instead of beth) i think the names are unique and pretty but now that his wife is having twin boys (oh my god, 6 kids??!!) my mom is pressuring him into normal names like Jake and Alex. She says shes afraid the girls are going to be teased. do you think thats the case?

peyton is my favorite. its really fun to say.

like taylor, thats fun to say too.

i like that one girl who said reid, but it should be reed. looks better.

and peyton is a normal name, linnea is cute, but elizaveta...thats baad. i guess people could call her liz or lizzie, but still.

she should name them whatever she wants.

i think it is easier to get away with unusual names for girls than boys. he doesn't have to go super normal, but i would'nt go to far out either.

Linnea and Elizaveta are pretty names!  I think they go nicely, and I doubt they'll cause problems.  I have a Russian name as well, and I've never gotten anymore than people misspelling and mispronouncing it, but never any ridicule.

I can't STAND Peyton!  I can't believe he chose such a trendy, preppy BOY name for his daughter.  Ugh, I feel bad for that girl!  Keirna is a beautiful name....WHY didn't he use that as her first name instead?  

Tell him to keep with unique names.  Jake and Alex are boring.

Yes, sorry but most of them sound like a bad attempt at creativity. All they do is make the parents look naive. Peyton is the only one that is ok, although extremely trendy.

My oldest child daughter name is PAYTON. I really like KEIRNA, and I HAVE TWIN BOYS ALSO: JA'KYE ZAHN, JA'ZYE SEAN. My youngest boy Framon. Not quite six but still is alot. There is nothing wrong with giving your child a name like that. Because they should be our pride and joy, we should want them to be different from other people. Jake and Alex nope............... that was unique in 1905.

Other than them mispronouncing the name Linnea (it does not begin with the lyn sound it is lee). If you use names from different cultures then at least pronounce them correctly. Sorry, this is a pet peeve of mine. Aside from that, I like the names. Not sure about them as a sibset because they are kind of all over the place. Trendy made up name (Keirna), trendy unisexed name (Peyton), Swedish name (Linnea) and Russian name (Elizaveta).

It is a bit different for boys names , you have to take care when choosing unusual names

I think they are pretty girls names. They are different but they are pretty. I think she should name the boys something different too. Like Austin and Kendrick or something like that maybe, and yeah 6 kids MG!!!! is right!!! Lil.

Im all about unique names, but at the same time thay cant sound crazy.  (my youngest is Avianna [Ah-vee-ah-na]).  I like Linnea, Payton is way overused for me to ever use it, but I don't like Keirna or Elizaveta, they sound like you brother just put together sounds to make a unique name with no thought to how it actually sounds.

However I like those names much better then "normal names" like Jake and Alex.   And in todays society, wth all the unique and/or crazy names out thier I find it hard to believe that the girls are going to be teased,  At least not to any great extent (their is always the bully type kids who will pick on anything normal or not, so theirs not much you could do about that anyway)
