Four men & two boys have to cross a river in a boat all 6 can row the boat but the boat can only carry one man

how do they all get across the river?

  1. If one rows, the others can hold on to a rope and be towed.


  2. The 2 boys go back & forth giving a ride to 1 man per trip.

  3. Tie a rope on the boat, let one cross at a time pulling it back until all have crossed.
