Fox hunting did it ever stop ? as per the law

all the screaming from the fox hunters seems to have stopped and nothing so drastic as job losses has happened.....what went on here ?

No it didn't.

Because, as usual, New Labour were missing the b@lls to actually bring in a total ban and left enough loop holes in the law to leave it virtually useless.

No job losses etc. have happened, because they're still out there assisting with the hunts. Only now they only "accidentally" kill the fox, and they just say they're only exercising the dogs.

Good on them, too, it was a ridiculous law pandering to a few fox-hugging city kids who don't realise just how much trouble these vermin cause in the countryside where i live. Next they'll be baning mouse traps...

I don't and did not like fox hunting, but the alternatives are even more unpleasant so I could not and did not support this stupid law which was all about class and not about animal cruelty.

This silly government and their so called supporters were not prepared to admit that many very humble people take pert in the hunt and not just as beaters. Sadly the hunting fraternity did not and do help themselves with their attitude to townies like me.

So no hunting did not stop and I hopolice police have better things to do than hide behind fences to prevent hunting.

I can tell you mate, it's been very hard for me. I used to love being chased by those little doggies. Now, it's just darn right boring and so quiet, there must be more to life.

they are all still hunting and the powers that be tend to belong to the same class so turn a blind eye,methinks..

I remember there was a guy on tv(he looked after the dogs) and he said he would lose his job if fox-hunting was banned and he made a massive fuss about it.as if he were the only one to ever lose his job.

I hate fox-hunting and despise those that partake. I was worried about the dogs and couldn't give a stuff if that guy lost his job or not.

So, to answer your question, did fox-hunting stop? No it didn't..

They are still doing the hunts as no one gives a stuff.
