Question:

Fox problem...question about predator pee?

We have a fox den somewhere in our neighborhood and they've been attacking cats, so we ordered coyote pee to scare them off from predatorpee.com. Is there any chance that this will attract other coyotes? They are very rare in our area, but I'm still worried. Thanks!

  1. It could backfire if there are any in your area

  2. Are you positive it is foxes doing the attacking.  Foxes do not usually attack cats..cats are usually about the same size as many foxes and can be more agressive than foxes.  Sure, a fox may take a small kitten, but adult foxes usually do not mess with an animal that is quite capable of harming them.  Are you sure it is not racoons, or coyotes.  Coyotes are pretty widespread and common across the US.  You may attract more of them by putting out coyote urine.  Another alternative is to keep your cats indoors where they cannot be attacked by native wildlife.
