Foxglove Digitalis?

Question

I would like to grow a foxglove plant in my house and I was wondering if this is possible. I would like to start growing it now and I was wondering if it was too late. Would it survive winter in a windowsill? if it is possible what type of pot and soil do I use? How often do I water it and how much? Also...I have read that touching digitalis alone can make you sick. Is this true? I have walked through meadows and such with it growing and even picked the flowers and nothing came of it. I do know if you eat it you die. But I know better, lol. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

foxglove is an outside plant i dont think it would do well indoors
