Foxgloves/poison?

My cousin gave me some foxglove plants to put in my garden. I just heard that they are extremely poisonous. should I worry about touching or bringing toxic germs in house?

  1. I wouldn't worry too much.Lots of plants are poisonous.Your not going to eat them are you?

  3. They are a strong poison, ... but only if eaten.

    Not to worry about touching, handling

    or smelling the flowers.

    Do keep the stuff away from toddlers,

    (who are known to eat the damndest things),

    otherwise they're nice to have around.

    The lady in the story cited above was allergic to them.

    That's a whole different matter.

  5. Yes they are poisonous...you can even be poisoned by the pollen, seeds, sap, roots ect. Many people end up with the poisoning from inhaling the pollen and not considering that the seeds are poisonous....
