Foxtel and foxtel iq question?

Question

I can't get through to foxtel support phone number because they "are too busy" so my question is can i connect a normal phone line to my foxtel box without paying for the "digipath" and order foxtel box office movies or do i need to have digipath installed.

What do foxtel charge for installation of foxtel iq for platinum subscribers?

FOXTEL subscribers who wish to utilise some of the great interactive services available on FOXTEL like ordering FOXTEL Box Office movies via the remote, voting or Tick & Play Games, must have an active return path installed as part of the installation.  FOXTEL will use the new technology DIGIPATH? to connect a return path.  Using a state of the art DECT wireless technology, DIGIPATH? establishes a connection between an existing phone line and FOXTEL Set-Top Unit. The standard installation included in the Starter Pack price does not include a return path. However, you can access DIGIPATH? for only $49.95 if requested at the time of sale/installation. For FOXTEL iQ customers, a hardwired return path is provided at no additional charge. If for some reason this is not available, DIGIPATH? can still be supplied at an additional fee of $49.95.
