I'm really slow and need some help. the way my teacher taught me was way too confusing and would like an easy method of how to solve these.

  1. The LCD is 12.


    so then you would go,


    12(3/4x) + 12(2/3) = 12(x) - 12(5/2)


    simplify farther to get,


    9x + 8 = 12x - 30


    -3x=-38


    x=12.6667


  2. 3/4x+2/3=x-5/2


  3. 3x+2/7=5
