Framing my cds???

Question

ok so i want to frame some cds i have. could i just get a regular picture frame and put something kinda soft behind the cd to keep it from scratching? would that work?

Seems the CDs would move around unless you attached them somehow, perhaps with craft or painters sticky spray on your soft material help hold them, then held in place by the pressure of the frame glass.

I think you're imagining using a plain colored felt?  How about using something interesting, such as a music-themed poster as your background.   This too could be sprayed with craft sticky spray.   Or, you could cut out the round clips from your plastic CD boxes, and glue the clips directly to poster.   Then you attach the CDs to the clips.   Frame the whole thing.

What you'd see is a detailed background, with the more plain round CDs in the foreground.
