Framingham boys volleyball team defeats Natick by 3-0 on Monday
Volleyball is a sport that is gaining popularity the world over. It is one of the few sports that has reached such a global popularity so quickly from the time of its inception. Volleyball is being played in many international competitions as well as local
ones too. Athletes undergo vigorous training in order to excel at these competitions.
Not only is the sport being taken seriously at the higher levels, volleyball is also played passionately at the grass root level in many countries. This is because it is a game that can be managed to be played with relative ease. All that is needed are some
enthusiastic players, a net and a ball.
Volleyball has not limited itself to only boys but girls also take part both at an amateurish and professional level. Many schools in the country have inculcated training programs that aim to harness and develop the potential of these young athletes. There
are many teams that play volleyball at such a competitive level that it seems as if one is watching professionals displaying their skill at the volleyball court.
One such team that has the ability to play volleyball at a high level is the Framingham boys volleyball team. They have been going strong all this season by putting up consistently well executed performances. Framingham has been able to inspire their fans
and strike awe in their opponents with the sorts of wins that they have been able to bag.
Framingham was in a match against the Natick boys volleyball team on Monday and were able to beat them pretty decisively. The visiting Natick team was swept by Framingham. The match in which both the teams were contesting each other was part of the Bay State
Conference.
The only time that Framingham was significantly challenged as in the first set of the game. After they had sealed the deal on Natick in the opening set, the second and the third ones came easily for Framingham. By the time that Framingham was done with Natick,
the scoreboard read as 25-23, 25-21, 25-14.
As soon as the first set of the match commenced, both the teams went in for the kill. In the early parts of the set, each point was vigorously competed for by both Natick as well as Framingham. Even until the final stages of the game, no one was sure where
the tables would turn. However, the team that was able to pull ahead was Framingham as they bagged the first set of the game at 25-23.
The last two sets of the game were not fought hard by Natick, with each of the two sets showing a decrease in their performance. As a result, Framingham took the match at 3-0.
