France football team ranked all time lowest
The new ranking list of football teams has been introduced. According to the new rankings, the French football team is on the 27th mark which is very disappointing news for the France national team and its fans. The France national
football team is going through serious problems these days as the team is unable to perform at any stage. The disappointing performance by the French team is making its fans and Football Federation more frustrated.
According to a very recent report France has slipped down to the 27th spot in the international team rankings by FIFA. This is the lowest ranking by France till date and it is no doubt a real sign of disappointment for the French
nation as well as French football team’s fans from all around the world. In the 2010 World Cup, the French team was brushed out in the group stage; later it was proved that the bad result was a consequence of an implosion and fight within the team squad and
management. Later on, after the incident the veteran French star Nicolas Anelka was sent home as a result of quarrelling with the coach Raymond Domenech. The matter entered into a very fuming state when the team-mates of Nicolas Anelka started to protest against
the step taken by their coach Raymond Domenech. The protest by the team resulted in the ban of French football stars Franck Ribery, Jeremy Toulalan and France team captain Patrice Evra. Subsequently, after the incident the French Football Federation also hired
a new coach for the team.
However, even under the coaching of the newly appointed manager Laurent Blanc the issues regarding the performance of the team remained almost the same. Their recent performance in the Euro Cup Qualifying matches is not at all
satisfactory as well. The defeat in the first match against Belarus was a vivid proof of their continuous bad performance on the field.
While talking about the other football playing nations and their team ranking, the current world champion Spain is topping the list. The Spanish football team is sailing smooth in the Euro Cup qualifying matches as well. The defeat
in the friendly match against Argentina did not hamper Spain’s confidence as Spanish players are still eager to perform better. The Spanish team has already started its winning campaign for the Euro Cup by beating Liechtenstein by four goals. This comfortable
win has given the Spaniards a confidence boost which is definitely going to help them in the other matches of the event.
Netherland, the runner up team of the World Cup is second on the rankings list as well. The Dutch team is no doubt a very strong squad and has improved its game to a very higher level which has made them one of the strongest squads
of the world. On the other hand the German team is at the third spot in the world rankings. It is to be remembered that Germany faced a crucial defeat at the hands of the Spanish team in the World Cup and now they are eager to compete again in the 2012 Euro
Cup qualifying matches. The five time World Cup winner Brazil is at the fourth spot followed by Argentina.
On the other hand the English team, which suffered a crucial and controversial defeat from Germany in the World Cup, is on the sixth spot of the World ranking chart. It is also to be remembered that the England team is performing
remarkably well in the Euro Cup Qualifying matches. The wins against Bulgaria and Switzerland in the Euro Cup Qualifiers have given the England team an advantage to improve its international ranking.
The current world ranking by FIFA has definitely created a lot of frustration in the French Football Federation as well as in the playing squad. To improve their performance the France team and management should work as one unit.
