France manager Laurent Blanc claims that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 is close to Arsenal exit
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, before the start of the season.
Nasri has been linked with a move out of Arsenal for quite some time now and, the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City are reported to be hot on the players tail, in order to snap him up.
However, despite that fact, the midfielder is yet to actually start negotiations with another club. Arsene Wenger has gone on to state that he is going to hold onto the French international, even if it means risking letting the player go for free next season.
Laurent Blanc, when asked about whether he knew Nasri and his future, responded by initially talking about the game against Benfica which the player missed.
"He did not play their last game in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984, I think... because he felt pain [injury].”
He then went on to state that the player was in talks with his club at the moment, in order to try and pursue his move out of the team, instead of working on a new contract deal.
"That's it, I dont know more. I just know that he is in talks with his club. Not to extend his contract because he said he would not, but to change club.”
Blanc then ended by stating that the sooner this saga ended, the better. Not only was all this transfer speculation affecting the player, but it was also going to force the team to have a poor start to the season.
"I personally can't wait for this to happen, because psychologically, it is never easy to play in a team and to not be sure whether you will start the season or leave. I admit it, it can be disturbing really.”
Nasri’s move away from Arsenal seems to be gaining strength as the days go by. However, that being said, the player seems to be more inclined to making a move to City, rather than United. This is rather amazing, considering the fact that United have the
much better record when it comes to winning trophies, while City have just gone on to win the FA Cup after a thirty five year drought.
Nonetheless, that being said, in order for Nasri to move away, a deal must be struck over the coming week, otherwise it might be too late for whatever team is interested in the player to land him and hence he would remain at the Emirates for another season.
