  1. France has the same seasons as the U.S., so when we have fall/autumn or winter, so do the French (but their winter is not as cold as it is in New England or the Midwest).  As for travel agencies, you're really better off looking online for airfare and accommodations.  There was a time when travel agencies got the best deals, but now the only time it's advantageous to go through a travel agency is if you're taking a cruise.

  2. I'm french, and it's summer, yes it's raining a lot

  3. You'll obtain the best prices by doing it yourself and skipping the travel agent.

  4. For climate France is divided into two, north of the Loire (includng Paris) and the south of the Loire.

The whole of France is in the northern hemisphere in temperate lattitudes, so its seasons follow the same pattern as those in the US and UK. French legalistic mentality has put official starting dates for seasons: summer officially starts on June 21 and lasts three until autumn starts on Sept 21 etc. This is completely independent of the weather, cuckoos singing, flower blossoms and other usual signs of seasons.

The north of the Loire is a very similar climate to the UK, a few degrees warmer. South of the Loire is warmer.

  5. I have contracted rates with most if not all airlines and France is our specialty so if you have any questions or need prices send me an e-mail and i will reply with my agency information.
