The head coach of the Udine based club has gone on to opine that the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan centre-forward is the “ideal striker” in a candid interview on a radio channel.
Francesco Guidolin has had a difficult start to the season and it has been emotionally draining for the veteran Italian. Guidolin was on the verge of resigning from the Bianconeri colours after a disastrous start to the season saw them eliminated from the
qualifiers of UEFA Champions League.
The Udinese tactician noted that it was his personal desire to be the first manager to lead the team into the Champions League, and after their elimination he was absolutely inconsolable and seemed to have lost his motivation to lead the side again.
In another interview he had conceded that it might be the end of an era for the Zebrette and that they had consistently over achieved in the past few seasons. He remarked that it was not possible to do this constantly, and the shortcomings of the side would
come through in the coming seasons.
Guidolin is revered by the Udinese faithful and they hold him in high regard, and the achievements he has made with limited budget and limited players has seen him become one of the most reliable coaches that the club has had in a long time.
However, in an interview with Radio Deejay, Guidolin seemed to have recovered from the trauma, and gave his analysis on the scenario in Italian football. He gave a very insightful review on the proceedings of the Lega and remarked on the fact that the way
football is played has essentially changed.
He remarked that you have to constantly adopt to the changing styles and you cannot rely on a given set of rules for the rest of your career.
He went on to comment on what makes the modern striker, and named Milito as the best striker, and remarked:
“Now they make the most of the modern striker, a central reference point who knows how to play the ball to feet and combine with his teammates. The ideal modern striker is Milito.”
Milito has been consistently scoring a high number of goals for Inter Milan after his move from Real Zaragoza.
