Allegri has been in the news for all the wrong reasons and his job has come under question after the performances of his team have come under severe criticisms by the Milanello hierarchy as well as many followers of the club. Despite the fact that the actions
of the club have not left much at the disposal of Massimiliano Allegri, there is unprecedented pressure on the shoulders of the former Cagliari boss to turn things around at the San Siro.
The club have had one of their most disappointing starts to the season, as they are currently sitting in the tenth position after three rounds of the Serie A, having won only one of their three matches in the Serie A. The next tie of the Rossoneri will not
make things any easier for them as they are travelling to the Friuli Stadium to play against Udinese.
The Rossoneri come on the back of Champions League excursions and drew against the Belgian outfit, Anderlecht. The San Siro crowd booed their team after the performance, which has further added to the pressure on the shoulders of the Italian.
The head coach of the Rossoneri outfit has seen the departure of more than 13 players from his squad, with the arrivals not making up for the departed players. This has caused a rift between the management and the coach of the Rossoneri outfit.
While being interviewed by the Bianconeri’s official website on the situation surrounding Allegri at the club, Guidolin stated that he was in similar waters. He also remarked that only in Serie A could one find the head coach under this much pressure and
he remarked:
“Allegri is at risk? Even I am at risk. We are at the bottom of the League, so I feel at risk. Unfortunately this only happens in Italy. Allegri, a Coach who won the League title then finished second the following year, is under discussion after only three
games...only in Italy.”
However, Milan have been performing well away from home which would be a concern for Guidolin.
