Francesco Guidolin has promised that his coaching days with Udinese are not over, and insists that he will beat the inevitable anxiety of the season with yoga.
The tactician recently stated that the intensity of the season has left him exhausted, and suggested that he may need a break from football, as his health cannot take the toll of another season comprising of more than 50 games.
However, the Bianconeri manager has assured that he will return to the touchline for his club, in the next campaign.
The former Parma manager stated that people are crowding around him in order to persuade him not to leave the Little Zebras. The veteran insisted that Udine is like a home to him, and there is no risk that he will part with the
city anytime soon.
Guidolin admitted that the season has been a long and tiring one for him, but insisted that he has a sheer passion for the game, and enjoys experiencing the excitement of football through his players.
The Bianconeri chief insisted that the stress is sure to return with the next season, but he intends to fight it off with yoga.
While talking to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the 56-year-old said:
“The people are asking me not to leave and there is no danger that I will. Udine is my home. I’ve had a long and complicated season. But I have passion, I love to Coach and live through games with my players. There is pressure
and anxiety, but I’ll be that with yoga.”
Inter Milan are being strongly linked with a move for Guidolin, but the Zebrette manager insisted that he has no such plans, and he is happy with the Pozzo family.
Udinese have qualified for the next year’s UEFA Champions League preliminary round tie, and the veteran coach insisted that he would like to see his key players remain with the team.
