The French Open, taking place at one of the toughest Golf course in the whole of Europe, the Le Golf National, near Paris finally came to an end. There were enormous amount of expectations by the fans and they got their money’s worth.
The French course lived up to its name and proved to be very difficult for the golfers. In the event, hardly any player had four consistent days of golf.
The tournament was won by number 58 in the world ranking, Marcel Siem. Even the German professional golfer had a day with two-over par.
The most inconsistent game was displayed by the Italian professional golfer Francesco Molinari. On the first day, Molinari carded three birdies and three bogeys which made his score par for the day.
Molinari had a better second day, as his score was three-under par for the day. The three-under par included five birdies and two bogeys. There were no eagles or double bogeys for the day.
The third day was the worst day for Molinari in this tournament. He was able to tee off with a birdie. However, he then scored five bogeys and a birdie, which made his score three-over par for the time being. After the end of third day his score was again
at par.
Before the second day, there was not much hope form the 29-year-old. No one expected what lied ahead.
Molinari started off his day at par. He scored his tournament’s first double bogey on the first hole, resulting in his score increasing to two-over par.

On the front nine, after the double bogey, Molinari scored three birdies on the third, sixth and eighth hole.
The Italian started off his back nine with two consecutive birdies. After that, he scored three consecutive birdies, starting from the thirteenth hole. Later on, he ended his tournament with another birdie, which made his score for the tournament seven-under
