The Roma player has gone on to state that he consider Zdenek Zeman and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luciano-c22574 Spalletti as the best coaches he has ever worked with; while reflecting on his career.
Zdenek Zeman signed up for a second stint with the Giallorossi for the 2012-13 campaign, and Totti is well pleased with the new addition at the club. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 suffered from an inconsistent season under Luis Enrique, and after continuous criticism throughout
the season, Enrique felt it best to part ways with the club and resigned from his coaching role at the capital outfit.
Totti went on to discuss that he felt an affinity with managers who are attack minded and direct in their approach, and he pinpointed Spalletti and Zeman as the managers epitomising such a mentality. He remarked that the vision of their newly appointed coach
is one that he believes in and also commented that their coach’s style was unique.
When quizzed who he would like the club to sign, he remarked that he would be quoting world class players, but he went on to state that he understood the club’s transfer policy as well. The club are keen on adding younger players to their squad and stated:
“I share Zeman’s vision of attacking football and his style is different to anyone else’s. If I had to name players I’d like to bring in, then obviously I’d say world class ones, but I know the club is working hard to sign promising young talents for the
present and future.”
He further went on to state that the club is not the easiest of clubs to play for, and even though the whole atmosphere surrounding the club is magnificent; the club fans are ruthless when things go wrong.
When quizzed about his time at the club, he remarked that the capital outfit was where his journey began and passion drove the best out of him. He went on to state:
“It’s not the same thing. I grew up at Roma. It was my dream and my ambition to wear the jersey and the captain’s armband. I won a Scudetto and several trophies with Roma and those are memories I will always keep.”
Roma are currently on their American tour, and Zdenek Zeman has been fiddling with the squad to see the best formation to be applied for next season.
