The Giallorossi captain believes that the re-introduction of the Czech tactician at AS Roma is a step in the right direction, and has stated that he is yearning to start a great season.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Francesco-Totti-c13940 has stated that the arrival of Zdenek Zeman at AS Roma is a great prospect for the outfit, and believes that the attacking style of the tactician will boost the number of opportunities for the strikers.
The chain-smoking veteran returned to his former outfit after more than a decade, following his triumphant campaign with Pescara in Serie B.
Totti played on the left-flank of the Czech national’s three-man attack in his earlier stint with the Giallorossi, and expressed his excitement at being able to play under him once again as the team begins its pre-season training.
The Lupi attacker was full of expectations from Zeman ahead of the new campaign, and insisted that the squad is motivated to do well under the new manager.
When asked about his impression of the former Pescara boss, the Giallorossi captain stated that he sees the veteran tactician as a man of few words but with a lot of wisdom.
Totti stated that he enjoys a good rapport with Zeman, and maintained that he is motivated as always to have a great season.
The Lupi attacking midfielder pointed out that given the attacking style of the manager, the strikers will have more chance of expressing themselves in the upcoming campaign.
While talking to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 channel, the 35-year-old said:
“We are ready to go and play a great season. How have I found Zeman? As always, he smokes and talks little, but when he does speak his words are important, heavy. I know Zeman well. I in particular have great desire and great motivation, as always. We hope to have a good year. With him I think that the strikers have more chance of scoring goals. I also have this opportunity and will look to exploit it.”
Totti went on to comment on Italy's campaign in Euro 2012, and insisted that while the Azzurri played really well in the whole tournament, they were beaten by a superior Spanish side.
