Franchises. Does anyone else think that every city in the country now looks the same!Walmart, home depot, mcdo

Walmart, Home Depot, Mcdonalds, subway, Wendys, and every other in your face franchise. I have been to many cities in the US and they all essentially look the same!! Whats the point of traveling anymore if every city is blanketed with the same old franchises??

Maybe you're just not looking hard enough.  Check out the museums and attractions, not just the McDonalds and Wamarts.  

When I go to a new city I like having the McDonald's and WalMart's where I can get good food and buy stuff (and know exactly what I'll be getting) but I don't spend all my time there.
