Arsenal youngster, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Francis-Coquelin-c13952 has admitted that he is willing to play just about anywhere, as long as he gets a regular spot in the team’s starting eleven.
Coquelin has started to make a name for himself as an Arsenal player, as the twenty year old has been impressing just about everyone with his performances on the pitch for the North London club.
The player was given an opportunity to play in the team’s starting eleven, because of the numerous injuries that the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 players suffered.
However, now that Coquelin has a taste of just what starting for Arsenal has to offer, he can’t wait to get more of it.
The defensive player has become so desperate to represent the team and has admitted he is willing to do just about anything and play anywhere to get his opportunity to play for Arsenal again.
Coquelin when talking about what he wants to do in the future is quoted to have said: “I want to play as much as possible.”
“At the moment it's at right-back, even if I'm usually a midfielder, but it's not a problem. I'm doing everything I can to play.”
The midfielder then admitted that he only got to play with the team this season and even admits that it was quite amazing to play against Manchester United.
Despite that fact, Coquelin wants to play as many games with the first team as he possible can.
The youngster then went on to add: “It's only really at the start of this season that I have started playing with the first team. I played against Manchester United at the end of August.”
“Since that, I try to get as much time on the pitch with the first team as possible, whatever the position.”
Due to the number of injuries that the Arsenal defenders have suffered, Coquelin has been used as a full back on a number of occasions. However, with his ability to play as a midfielder, he could easily fill in the holding midfielder role.
Coquelin is slowly turning into Arsenal’s utility player and perhaps he doesn’t need to change anything about his game, since he is guaranteed minutes with the first team, due to the number of injuries the Gunners suffer every season.
