I am having problems with my francis francis getting to temperature. I want to know where I can buy parts. I called illy on the east coast and they will not sell parts and it will cost too much money to ship it for repair. Does anyone know?I have an X3 that overheated right out of the box when I purchased new in January 2007. I shipped it, they repaired it, sent it back. Now in April 2008 it has developed the same overheating problem again. I called the support line at 877-854-4141 and they tell me that they don't sell parts, it is out of warranty, and will only take it in for repairs. Repairs are $65 for diagnosis including first hour labor, and any parts range from $20ish to $60ish depending upon the problem, plus my cost to ship to and from their repair center (probably about $30 each way). I'm probably looking at $200ish+ for repairs total... ouch. I find this to be ridiculously poor customer service for this product over such a short life-span. Does anyone know of a way to get parts? Unless illy makes this right, I don't intend to buy any of their products ever again. Buyer Beware of illy and Francis Francis products!
