I have had this problem with my exploding X1 machine!
After no problems for about 18 months, the unit now trips the power in the house every time it is switched on..the first couple of times it happened, smoke was rising from it.
Bad enough as that is, I bought the same machine for my brother+wife for their wedding. They only got just over a year out of it before it started giving precisely the same problems. I was hoping to find some answers on the internet, but lots of people reporthaving this same problem, not many report a fix. This is surely a design fault of the product, but the only way to fix it is an extremely expensive trip to the repair shop. For me, doubly so!
Please, any assistance. If I could source the replacement parts relatively cheaply, I'd fix the machines myself, but I can't find any links to the company website, or anyone who might confirm for me what the issue may be (as both machines display the same symptoms, I think it fair to assume it's the same problem)
