Francis Langford?

I was doing some research about her. I saw an old article about her 'granddaughter' was murdered, and the guilty party was put to death in Florida. However, all of the obituaries say she had no children. Anybody out there know something on the subject?

I would have to agree entirely with the other lady who answered, I would say that's the most likely explanation.

Perhaps, the article was referring to a step-grandchild by either her 2nd husband or her 3rd husband, without referring to her, specifically, as a step-grandmother.

(My sisters and I, as well as all of our children, were listed as the children and grandchildren of our step-father, in his obit.)

If possible, check the article again.
