  1. no cuz hes so good he gets through innings fast so he hasnt really pitched to much this season he should be just as good later in the season

  2. No way. 54 innings over the course of almost 5 months? Not worn out. Not fatigued. He'll be fine.

  3. NO!

  4. He's only thrown about 54 innings, which is very good at this point in the season considering he's got 50 saves.  He should be fine as long as they don't ride him too hard in September.

  5. i hope dudes arm falls off in a close situation, thats good tV

  6. I can only hope. I really hope he misses the 57 save mark. It's unlikely, but the last thing I want to hear about is how much better he is than Mo Rivera and all other closers because he has so many saves.

He plays on a team that gives him save situations. It's hard to reach that magic 57 because not many closers get 57 chances to save a game. The Angels play close ballgames and that pays off.

Not trying to detract from his talent, but honestly, I think this save record is a little overrated.

  7. Well K-rod have barely pitched in any games which have not been a save situation.  He have pitched in 60 games this season and only 4 of them have not resulted in a Win, Loss or Save.

He still have pitched 13 innings less than he did last year and with about 30 games to go, I think he'll be fine in time for the playoffs.

But I really htink Mike Schoscia needs to start playing this season more carefully, and preserve his players come playoff time.

  8. He'll get the record 57 games and will be fine in the playoffs. What I hate about him getting the record is that he isn't the best closer in the league. It's Joe Nathan.
