The 29-year-old has nothing but praise for the Bundesliga outfit after FC Hollywood thrashed LOSC Lille at Allianz Arena in the Champions League
The four-time champions of Europe once again proved their worth as they fired past six goals against a sorry looking Lille side on Wednesday. The win has killed Les Dogues’ hopes of reaching the next round of the competition and their Champions League campaign
has come to a sad end.
LOSC are struggling for form at the moment but no one was expecting Lille to concede six goals against the Bavarians, and Les Dogues would be under immense pressure as they prepare to take on Stade Brestois 29 in Ligue 1 this Saturday.
Rudi Garcia’s side is currently eight in the league with 17 points on the table after 11 games. And they would be looking for a positive result at the weekend to get their campaign back on track.
Lille defender, Franck Beria was talking to reporters after the match and when asked about his views regarding Wednesday’s game, the Frenchman had nothing but praise for the opposing side and stated that Bayern Munich were as impressive as it can get and
Lille had no chance against them.
"You saw the difference between a team that has appeared in two Champions League finals in three years, and us, there is nothing more to say.”
The player added that the hosts were by far the better side of the two and they demonstrated their superiority on the pitch.
“They are simply a class above us, they are monsters physically, are technically excellent, and they completely undid us with their movement.”
However, Beria feels that Lille should have done better against the German club and has urged his teammates to forget about Wednesday’s game and move on. The player added that the defeat will help LOSC in the future and it will encourage him and other players
to perform well in Ligue 1.
“We need to stick together and make sure we perform well in the league. We were outclassed that is just fact, as painful as it is. I would ask all of my teammates to keep their chins up and hopefully, this slap in the face will serve us well in future."
