Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery reckons that the Borussia Dortmund striker is far more impressive than his young teammate.

teammate, Mario Gotze.
Ribery believes that the Polish striker is more of a threat to the opposition due to his goal scoring abilities. He feels that Gotze is over-rated, and the clubs should consider signing Lewandowski instead keeping tabs on Gotze.
The French international’s comments came after recent speculation that Bayern Munich will be signing Lewandowski in the summer as a replacement for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lech-Poznan-c39779 star has made rapid strides at
the Westfalenstadion, and displaced http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lucas-Barrios-c22533 from the starting XI.
While talking to Sport-Bild, the French international further mentioned:
"In my opinion, Lewandowski is more valuable than Gotze. He really is an outstanding player. When I look at Dortmund, it is Lewandowski who catches my eye rather than Gotze. Lewandowski is a great striker. Gotze is more of a central
player, not for out wide."
Lewandowski tied knots with Dortmund in 2010, and so far has bagged 20 goals from 50 league appearances. He played a major role in his side’s title triumph last season which was also his debut campaign with the reigning German
champions.
The striker has been in influential form this season and his performances in the ongoing season have made him a regular in Jurgen Klopp’s team. The player’s performances have pushed Dortmund’s top scorer for the last season, Lucas
Barrios, to the bench and he could play a major part in the club’s bid to retain their Bundesliga title.
The player is currently into his winter break, and tipped to play a major role in Dortmund’s road to success this season. The Borussians are currently second in the league standings with 34 points, and will fight with Bayern until
the very end in order to retain their Bundesliga crown.
