Franck Ribery insists he wants to stay at Bayern Munich for life- Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich winger has insisted that he wants to end his career at the club. He claimed that the club is perfect for him and he cannot think to play for another side currently. The player admitted that he is enjoying his time
at the club and is delighted with his performances in the ongoing season.
Franck Ribery has been in sensational form this season and has been the team’s best player this year with five goals already in the 16 appearances made in all competitions so far. The winger has also accumulated a staggering nine
assists in the process and has been a main threat.
Ribery claimed that his life in Munich is perfect at the moment with his family and he is now not thinking of moving anywhere. He committed his future to the club and admitted that he would love to retire in the Bavarian shirt.
He added that there are many more years left in him and that he can play until he is 35.
“This is perfect for me here. I can picture myself staying at Bayern forever. If my body allows it I will be 35 and still playing here,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The French international is delighted with his form and believes that he has returned to the same form with which he joined the club from Olympique Marseille. He criticized former manager Louis Van Gaal for not using him properly
but is very happy with his performances under Jupp Heynckes. He hailed that former Bayer Leverkusen tactician’s assistance and hopes that he stays at the club for a long time.
“I am the old Ribery again. Van Gaal constantly told me what to do but I know how I should move. Heynckes explains to me how I can become better but without issuing orders. We laugh and work. I hope he stays here for a long time,”
he concluded.
Bayern Munich will be facing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, November 2, in search of another win in the UEFA Champions League. A victory would surely seal their place in the knock-out stage.
