Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has urged his side to stay focused ahead of the second leg of their UEFA Champions League qualifier against FC Zurich. The player was talking after his side registered a 2-0 victory in the first leg played at Allianz Arena
on Wednesday, August 17.
Ribery congratulated his team for completing a professional victory but at the same time warned them against any complacency prior to the away leg.

Ribery, at the same time, also declared himself fit for the upcoming tie. He told that he has been working hard to regain full fitness and credited the club’s medical staff for making it possible.
While talking to a local newspaper, the 28-year-old winger enthused, "It is not finished yet, there is still the second leg, but we are in good position to qualify. During the two last years I trained by myself. This time I am training with the group, and
I want to have a great season. I find the pleasure and this is what matters the most."
The opening goal came as early as the eighth minute when Schweinsteiger received a perfect cross from Robben to earn his side a 1-0 advantage. It took more than 60 minutes for the next goal to arrive and it was Robben this time who put finishing touched
to a move after accepting a cross from Thomas Muller in the 72nd minute.
Bayern manager, Jupp Heynckes, was pleased with the 2-0 advantage going into the second leg but criticised his team for wasting a number of chances. He believed that his midfield was classy compared to his forward line. Heynckes also hailed the efforts of
his goalscorers.
