Franck Ribery has expressed his desire to retire at Bayern Munich. He was talking ahead of his team’s first-leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Olympique Marseille on Wednesday, March 28, at the Stade Velodrome.
The winger confirmed his affection for the club and wishes to lead Bayern into the semi-final of the Champions League by beating his former employers. Ribery told that his last five years at Bayern have been outstanding and there
is no need for him to ponder over other options.
Ribery signed for the Munich giants from Les Phoceens in 2007 and since then has been a phenomenal figure at the club. The Frenchman has had an injury plagued career so far but is still amongst the best players at the club alongside

While talking to L’Equipe, the 28-year-old attacker further added: "I am entering my fifth year at Bayern. At this club, in this city, I feel at home. I am very happy and I feel free here. My family also feels very comfortable.
I want to end my career at this club.”
On the other hand, Ribery also commented on his trip to Marseille for the first time since leaving them in 2007. He reckons that the crowd might not like him when he steps on to the pitch but still showed gratitude to his former
bosses who supported him throughout his time in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899.
"My two years at Marseille were very important. If I am at Bayern right now, it is because of what I did at Marseille. It was also there where I learned what pressure was, and that when all goes well, this leads to happiness.
I think that the fans have not forgotten what I did for the club, but they will not applaud me," Ribery concluded.
Ribery has so far netted 42 goals for Bayern from 123 league appearances until now and his next test against Marseille is probably the winger’s biggest challenge this season.
