The AS Roma General Manager insists that the Giallorossi project is not over despite uncertainty over Luis Enrique’s future at the club; blames himself for chaos

The Giallorossi fans stage protests at the end of the game, and called for the manager’s sacking. Enrique was extremely disturbed after the defeat, and also hinted at his departure from the club. The tactician took the responsibility

However, Baldini refused to comment on the manager’s future, but he suggested that their project will not be scrapped in the near future. La Maggica chief offered his support to Enrique, and revealed that the Spaniard is going
through a tough time.

While talking to the reporters, Baldini said:
“I cannot be inside Luis’ head at this moment and he may well be upset, as he thought we had an important chance of reaching the Champions League. At this moment he is a wounded man, but that doesn’t mean he has already made a
decision.”
“It is difficult to say what the mistakes were, but I can say that I made a few and take responsibility, but this is not a failure or the end of the project. Our club was built on August 18, we created the squad in chaotic fashion
during a 12-day period and this didn’t help us pick the best players for our project.”

With only four matches to play in the league, Roma are even struggling to qualify for the UEFA Europa League.
